Thermaskirt is an efficient alternative to heat your rooms.
In a lounge it is an ideal solution as it does not interfere with the furniture placement and in cases where a wood burning stove is also a feature then the aluminium profile can react quickly with a thermostatic valve so as not to allow the room to overheat.
In a conservatory, garden room or orangery where vaulted ceilings are a feature of the design, conventional convection radiators do not work well but the low level radiant heat from Thermaskirt is an ideal solution. Where patio doors or large glazed areas are present the solar gain can change the room temperature quickly and the aluminium profile reacts quickly so as to offer the ideal level of comfort.
In a bedroom when the central heating is turned off at night whilst you are tucked up in bed but come the morning it is nice to get up to a warm room then the fast reacting low level heat from Thermaskirt is the perfect solution.
Thermaskirt offers a similar comfort to that of under floor heating but with a far quicker response time. It can be retrofitted to upstairs and downstairs rooms and will not limit your choice of floor coverings as with under floor heating.
Thermaskirt skirting heating should not be confused with the old fashioned convection skirting heating often recognised by a series of pipes with fins.
