The original Ecofan was first seen being used on narrow boats but we now find that most people buying a wood burning stove will opt for one of our Smart Stove Fans. At Cheshire Design Centre we have several ranges to cover all situations. The Valiant 2 blade and Valiant Premiair are well known and can be seen working on a Clearview multifuel stove.

If you are looking for the best price fan then the Phoenix Mini; the Phoenix 4 blade and the Phoenix 2 blade fans are worth considering. These stove fans are available as 4 blade fans and 2 blade fans and are available in a variety of heights. The small stove fan is only 185mm tall. The Phoenix Stove fan will start to operate from a low temperature of 50°C.

The SmartFan and The SmartFan Mini offer an alternative design for the self-powered, clean and efficient heat powered stove fan. The SmartFan works on the same principle as the Valiant Stove fan and Phoenix Stove fan but achieves it in a different way. The hotter the bottom and the colder the top the more electricity is produced. The Phoenix stove fan and the Valiant Stove fan keep the top cool by having a large surface area however the SmartFan utilises a second fan on the top to keep the top cool. The SmartFan can move 360 Cubic meters of air per hour.

The Sirocco thermoelectric stove fan is a 3 blade stove top fan which has a quality feel due to its solid cast base. This fan is available with Golden, Black or Nickel blades and definitely has an up market feel making it distinctly different from other fans on the market.

Finally there is one more fan which is sometimes thought of as a ‘Big Boys Toy’. The Vulcan Fan is a Sterling Engine and this will operate on a stove with surface temperature from 150°C. The fan will spin at about 200rpm at 200° increasing to about 350rpm at 450°C. The Sterling engine stove fan needs a quick flick to start it once the stove has reached the correct temperature and then it will uniformly circulate air leaving a cozy and comfortable atmosphere to enjoy whilst at the same time reducing the amount of fuel that your appliance requires.
